The Final Project

It was our last presentation in the last class of this semester. The works was similar to the PSA we did before last two weeks, so it was more easier for us to get into the process of making the layout and PPT. It was easy to think something we want to improve, but it was difficult to make it come true. Luckily, we didn't need to make them come true; just try to show it. We spent two hours to take the photos and all of members acted in the photos. We tried to find out the materials we could use for this product improvement, and what we had were scooters, helmets, and an air pillow from Penny's brother. It was hard to present our idea with a pillow, but it was the most similar thing we could find. I was chosen as the model to use the pillow. Although it looked very funny, I hope the classmates can understand what we are going to show them. I really thank for my members, for their hard-working, passion, and ideas, and I am glad to work with them.

We discussed how to take the photos together, and I responsible for taking pictures, word, and PPT with Janice. All of our members think it is dangerous that more and more people cannot live without Internet. They shopping on-line, playing on- line games, and making friends on-line. And most of us had experience made friends on-line. Therefore, we chose this topic for making people take care of the problems that on-line friends may bring. It was interesting to take photos. All our members were enjoyed. One of our classmate, Darbie, who played a role in our pictures, helped us a lot. We really appreciated that. I like homework even though it was really difficult. Anyway, it was interesting experience for me.

2. Was there a subhead and a slogan?
    Yes. 1 tree, 12 sheets.

3. Was the visual attractive?
    Yes. The visual attracted me a lot, and that's why I chose this ad. Not only because it is beautiful but because it is meaningful.

4. Was the overall lay-out creative? Does it make the readers think? In what way?
    Yes. The designer made the tissue which used at toilet come from the cut-down wood. That could make people think about the environment, and then save the paper and cherish it.

The strongest typhoon this year slammed into the central Philippines today.
The storm set off landslides and knocked out power and communication lines in several provinces.
At least four people died.
Nearly 720 thousand people were forced to evacuate before Typhoon Haiyan's(海燕) arrival.
Due to cut-off communication, it was impossible to know the extent of
casualties and damage.
